Wild Seed Botanicals Botanical Whipped Shea Butter - Multi-Purpose Moisturiser Review
I wanted to share with you a lovely gem which I've been reaching for lately - Wild Seed Botanicals Botanical Whipped Shea Butter. This multi-purpose moisturiser can be used all over - on the face, body and hair. As mentioned in a recent blog post (a co-washing guide for natural hair) I am a new mum and have been refining my beauty routine to be more time saving until my little one is a bit older and more settled. Read on for my review of this beauty and a few ways that I use it…
Wild Seed Botanicals Botanical Whipped Shea Butter Multi-Purpose Moisturiser Review
I received a PR sample of Wild Seed Botanicals Botanical Whipped Shea Butter (from £5.50 (50ml) to £33 (300ml)) at the press preview of TreasureTress 5th pop up shop last November. I have since bought a full sized version which arrived promptly despite all that’s been going on lately and it was also beautifully wrapped. Wild Seed Botanicals is a London born beauty brand, handcrafted by YouTuber NeffyFroFro.
This multi-purpose whipped shea butter has been formulated with organic food grade ingredients to help nourish and restore moisture in skin and hair. I love the velvety texture of the Botanical Whipped Shea Butter which is a result of the handcrafted blend of ingredients which includes the following:
raw Shea Butter from Ghana (naturally rich in vitamins A, E and F and helps boost collagen production)
organic Coconut Oil (rich in proteins, natural fatty acids and anti-oxidants to help rejuvenate skin)
Aloe Vera (known for it’s healing and hydrating properties)
Vitamin E (helps protects against damaging free radicals)
Let's talk about the scent - it is lush, smells like citrus and is comforting too! Plus, the scent lingers for a while too which I like. Also, a little goes a long way, it melts beautifully on contact with the skin and in terms of product performance, this whipped shea butter leaves skin glowing and locks in moisture well.
5 Ways to Use a Whipped Shea Butter Mix
I've been using Wild Seed Botanicals Botanical Whipped Shea Butter in the following ways:
Face moisturiser on damp skin.
All over body moisturiser on damp skin.
Hair sealant to lock in moisture after using my leave-in conditioner or moisturising hair milk.
Hand moisturiser (especially with all hand washing of late due to the current pandemic and also after changing little ones nappies).
Foot cream - perfect for keeping feet in tip top condition during sandals weather!
Have you tried this Wild Seed gem or a whipped shea butter mix before? Let me know in the comments.
