Best Rosemary Oil Products for Natural Hair

Rosemary is known as the perfect companion for cooking but this versatile herb is great for the hair and scalp too. Rosemary oil invigorates and stimulates the scalp, helps promote hair growth and support thinning hair. It also has antibacterial and anti-fungal properties which might help prevent dandruff. Read on for some of my favourite rosemary oil infused products for natural hair.

best rosemary oil products for 4c natural hair

Faith in nature rosemary shampoo

This Faith in Nature shampoo with rosemary oil gently cleanses and is silicone and sulphate free. The formula is very light but lathers well and has an uplifting herbal scent. I love this shampoo because it is naturally derived, removes build up and refreshes my scalp and hair. Faith in Nature Rosemary Shampoo also contains tea tree and the combination of rosemary and tea tree helps soothe my scalp when itchy and flaky which it has been recently due to the change in weather. Since using Faith in Nature Rosemary Shampoo, I have seen an improvement in my scalp’s condition.

faith in nature rosemary conditioner

Faith in Nature Rosemary Conditioner is lightweight yet effective. The texture is much lighter and runnier than the conditioners I tend to go for but this surprisingly has great slip and detangles my natural 4C hair well. In addition to rosemary leaf oil and rosemary leaf extract, Faith in Nature Rosemary Conditioner is made with rapeseed oil, and tea tree oil plus it’s silicone and sulphate free and made with 99% naturally derived ingredients.

Mielle organics rosemary mint strengthening hair masque

I love a good deep conditioner and this Mielle Rosemary Mint Strengthening Hair Masque is just lush! It is as good as the other Mielle organics deep conditioning hair masques which I have used religiously in the past notably the Mielle Mongongo Oil Hydrating Conditioner (protein free) and the OG Mielle Organics Babassu Mint Deep Conditioner. Aside from rosemary oil and mint, Mielle’s strengthening hair masque contains a powerhouse of nourishing natural ingredients like honey, coconut oil, olive oil, sweet almond oil and castor oil. Mielle Organics Rosemary Strengthening Mint Hair Masque is infused with Biotin too which helps support hair growth. Mielle Rosemary Mint Hair Masque has a rosemary mint scent, you can feel your scalp tingling when you use it and it’s thick and makes my hair feel stronger. I apply this hair mask to damp hair and leave it on for about 15 minutes then rinse with cool water.

mielle organics rosemary mint scalp & hair strengthening hair oil

Mielle Organic’s Rosemary Mint Scalp & Hair Strengthening Oil is made with more than 30 essential oils and extracts and can be used daily or for hair treatments. I use Mielle Organic’s Rosemary Mint Scalp & Hair Strengthening Oil for hot oil treatments if I have time and apply a little on washday as a leave-in treatment and to help lock in moisture. The scent of Mielle Organic’s Rosemary Mint Scalp & Hair Strengthening Oil is uplifting and a little goes a long way. Everyone has been raving about Mielle’s Rosemary Mint Oil for hair growth, I can’t testify to hair growth but it I have found this oil provides incredible shine and is very invigorating for my scalp. When using this hair oil don’t be tempted to use too much though as overuse of any oil can block your pores and congest the scalp. Also, Mielle Rosemary Mint Scalp and Hair Oil is basically a concentrated hair serum and the feeling and results reminds me of one of my holy grail hair products - Mielle Mint Almond Oil.

So there you have it my favourite rosemary infused shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioning hair masque and scalp and hair oil which my natural hair loves.
