KinKind Shampoo and Conditioner Bars Review

KinKind is a multi award-winning beauty brand which specialises in sustainable, naturally inspired plastic free, vegan and cruelty free hair and body products.

KinKind's range includes Shampoo Bars and Conditioner Bars as well as deodorants, moisturisers, shaving balm and hand and body bars tailored to meet your skin and hair needs. I was excited to try out the range because I’ve been trying to incorporate more solid beauty into my routine.

Benefits of using a solid Shampoo Bar or Conditioner Bar

1. Opting for solid beauty like a shampoo bar and conditioner bar help reduce plastic waste as they often come in boxes.

2. Shampoo bars and conditioner bars contain no water and are made with little water during production so limit water waste too.

3. Shampoo bars and conditioner bars are also perfect for travelling be it a staycation or vacation. I took my KinKind Shampoo Bar and Conditioner Give Me Strength Bar on holiday as they are lightweight and didn’t take up much space in my luggage.

Packed with Cocoa Seed Butter, Coconut Oil Wheatgerm Oil and Rice Protein, KinKind Give Me Strength Conditioner Bar really surprised me… it actually helped detangle my hair and left it feeling soft. Like KinKind Give Me Strength Shampoo Bar, the Give Me Strength Conditioner Bar is palm sized bar and also saves the use of 2 plastic bottles.

My Thoughts on KinKind Shampoo and Conditioner Bar

I’ve been enjoying reaching for both KinKind Shampoo Bar and Conditioner Bar on washday for the past few weeks on my natural kinky curly, 4C hair. The KinKind Give Me Strength Shampoo Bar foams beautifully and does a great job at removing build up. The KinKind Give Me Strength Conditioner Bar is lovely and doesn’t leave my hair feeling weighed down plus it's perfect for when I don’t have time for a deep conditioner (because as a busy mum of two I don’t always get the time for a long deep conditioner session these days). Both of these KinKind Shampoo bar and Conditioner bar have a refreshing fragrance and are easy to store.

How to store shampoo and conditioner bars

You can simply store the KinKind shampoo bar and conditioner bar in KinKind a stainless steel rack for the bathroom or a KinKind aluminium storage tin when travelling. I keep my KinKind Shampoo bar and Conditioner bar on the stainless steel rack on a shelf in my bathroom so it can stay dry in between use.
