Are Feel Protein Bars good for you?

Feel Protein Bars are made with pea protein and soya protein isolate to help keep you fuller for longer whilst providing essential amino acids which helps recovery after exercise and aid muscle growth and strength.

Each 50g bar has 15g of protein which helps you reach your daily protein target. Many protein bars are high in sugar (which can lead to obesity and diabetes when consumed in high amounts) but not Feel Protein Bars as they are low in sugar (only 1.5g per bar!). They are made with beets beets chicory root so are high in fibre with 10.8g per bar to aid digestion. These protein Bars are also vegan, gluten free and calories dense with 209 kcals per bar. I've had some horrible tasting protein bars in the past… and Feel Protein Bars are the opposite to the ones I've had in the past as Feel's ones actually taste pretty good. All three flavours are nice and have similar nutritional profile but my favourite is the Salted Caramel Protein Bar.

Feel Protein Bars are a bit like having a chocolate bar just way better because of the nutritional value, minus the sugar and they help you feel fuller for longer. You can choose from Chocolate Brownie, Peanut, Salted Caramel or you can grab a variety box with all three flavours.

How often Should you eat Feel Protein Bars?

You can eat one to two Feel Protein Bars daily as a healthy snack (or dessert - they taste great broken up in dairy free coconut ice cream) for added protein and nutrients. It’s best to have protein bars post workout to top up your protein consumption and aid muscle growth and repair.

My thoughts on Feel Protein Bars

I’ve been trying out all three variants of Feel Protein Bars and have found them to be super handy for on the go and when you are in need of a quick energy boost post workout. I've been having a Feel Protein Bar with a decaf coffee before my commute (as I usually have a proper breakfast at my desk if am working in the office). I also find Feel Protein Bars handy after a run or as a healthy afternoon pick me up whenever I am in need of a boost.
