Super Berry Smoothie Bowl

I love Sunday’s because it’s usually the day that I experiment with smoothie recipes as my fridge is stocked from shopping the day before and I generally have more time on my hands in the morning to make a scrummy recipe like this Super Berry Smoothie recipe (which is a bit of an oldie but a goodie)...

Smoothie Ingredients

  • 1 small avocado

  • 1 beetroot

  • 2 large strawberries (I had just a few left but you can add more if you like)

  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries

  • 1 handful of frozen raspberries

  • 1/2 passion fruit

  • c50ml unsweetened almond milk

  • 1 tsp nuanaturals smoothie boost (skin glow) for an extra boost (I found this in TKmaxx)

Blend all the ingredients until smooth in a Nutribullet.

A little tip: add a small amount of liquid (almond milk in this case) and blend for a few seconds then add more liquid depending on how thick you want the smoothie’s consistency to be.
Also, if you use frozen berries this helps add to the thickness.

Smoothie Toppings

Pour into a bowl (or keep it in the nutribullet cup) and top with frozen raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, coconut and naturya's breakfast boost for crunch and more nutrients. Enjoy!

Let me you if you try this recipe in the comments or tag me in your creations.
