Turmeric Superblend Smoothie Bowl Recipe
Turmeric has sooo many great benefits - it’s a powerful antioxidant, has anti-inflammatory properties and is known to be healing too. I usually take organic turmeric curcumin supplements with black pepper and cook with it.
I recently purchased an organic Turmeric Superblend from Naturya’s website for £13.99 (but you can get it for a better price (£7.99) from Planet Organic) which contains maca powder, lucuma powder, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom and black pepper (all these ingredients help support energy and immunity) so I thought I’d give it a go in a smoothie and it worked beautifully. Read on for the full recipe…
Turmeric Superblend Smoothie Recipe
1/2 cup frozen mango
1/2 cup frozen pineapple
1 mandarin (because I only had a few left… you could add more)
2/3rd cup Vita Coco Coconut Milk
12g Naturya Organic Turmeric Superblend
Method
Blend until smooth with a Nutribullet.
Pour the smoothie into your favourite bowl.
Add toppings (optional) - I went with some mandarin, chopped mango and pineapple (I used frozen ones) as well as a little desiccated coconut.
Enjoy!
